  • Carrot – 1 (chopped)
  • Ginger – 1 tablespoon (chopped)
  • Curry leaves – few
  • Coriander leaves – ¼ cup (chopped)
  • Soy sauce – 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Salt – to taste
  • Oil – 1–2 tablespoons
  • Water – as required

Preparation Method

Step 1: Prepare Millet

  1. Wash and soak little millet for 30 minutes.
  2. Cook with water in a 1:3 ratio for about 15 minutes.
  3. Drain excess water and spread on a plate to cool (to avoid lumps).

Step 2: Stir-Fry Vegetables

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add chopped ginger, onion, and green chilies.
  3. Sauté for a few minutes.
  4. Add curry leaves, cauliflower, cabbage, beans, and carrot.
  5. Stir-fry until vegetables are cooked but still crunchy.

Step 3: Add Spices & Sauce

  1. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and soy sauce.
  2. Mix well and cook for 5–10 minutes.

Step 4: Combine

  1. Add the cooked and cooled millet.
  2. Toss and mix well on high flame for 2–3 minutes.

Step 5: Serve

  1. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  2. Serve hot.
