Ingredients

  • Foxtail millet flour – 80 g
  • Flax seeds – 100 g
  • Jaggery – 100 g
  • Ghee – 40 g
  • Almonds – 10 g

  • Raisins – 10 g
  • Cardamom pods – 6 g

Preparation Method

  1. Heat ghee in a pan and roast foxtail millet flour on low flame until aromatic. Keep aside.
  2. Roast almonds, cashew nuts, and raisins separately in ghee until golden.
  3. In another pan, dry roast flax seeds until they begin to crackle slightly.
  4. Allow all ingredients to cool.
  5. Transfer foxtail millet flour, roasted flax seeds, dry fruits, cardamom pods, and jaggery into a blender.
  6. Grind the mixture into a coarse or fine blend as desired.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and mix thoroughly.
  8. Add warm ghee if required and shape into lemon-sized laddus.
  9. Allow them to set before serving.
