Milk – 500 ml
Millet rawa – 2 tablespoons
Corn flour – 2 tablespoons
Sugar – 3–4 tablespoons
Butter – 1 tablespoon
Eggs – 1–2 (for coating)
Bread crumbs – 1 cup
Oil – for frying
Powdered sugar – for sprinkling
In a saucepan, mix sugar, millet rawa, and corn flour.
Add milk gradually and mix well to avoid lumps.
Cook on medium flame, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
Once thick, remove from flame and add butter. Mix well.
Pour the mixture into an ungreased square baking mould.
Spread evenly and smooth the top.
Refrigerate uncovered for at least 1 hour or until firm.
Once set, cut into cubes using a wet knife.
Dip each cube into beaten egg mixture.
Coat evenly with bread crumbs.
Heat oil in a pan.
Fry the coated cubes for 1–2 minutes or until light golden brown.
Remove and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
