  • Ginger paste – 1 teaspoon

  • Bread crumbs – 1 cup
  • Water – as required
  • Oil – for deep frying

Preparation Method

Step 1: Prepare Mixture

  1. Boil potatoes and carrot in a pressure cooker for 4–5 whistles.
  2. Peel and mash them in a bowl.
  3. Add green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, salt, chili powder, corn flour, maida, and proso millet flour.
  4. Mix everything well to form a smooth dough-like mixture.

Step 2: Shape Cheese Balls

  1. Cut cheese into small square pieces.
  2. Take a portion of the mixture and flatten it on your palm.
  3. Place a cheese cube in the center.
  4. Cover and shape into a smooth round ball.

Step 3: Coating

  1. Mix corn flour with water to make a thin slurry.
  2. Dip each ball into the slurry.
  3. Roll in bread crumbs to coat evenly.
  4. Refrigerate the prepared balls for 20 minutes.

Step 4: Frying

  1. Heat oil in a deep pan on medium flame.
  2. Deep fry the balls until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  3. Remove and drain excess oil on paper towels.

Step 5: Serve
