  • Egg – 1

Preparation Method

Step 1: Prepare Batter

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine millet flour, wheat flour, green gram dal flour, red chili powder, pepper powder, and salt.

  2. Add egg and milk (or milk powder).

  3. Add water gradually and mix to form a smooth, slightly loose batter.


Step 2: Prepare Onion Rings

  1. Peel onions and separate them into rings. Keep aside.


Step 3: Coating

  1. Heat oil in a deep pan to about 185°C (365°F).

  2. Dip each onion ring into the prepared batter until fully coated.

  3. Place the coated ring onto a plate of bread crumbs.

  4. Coat evenly by scooping crumbs over the ring and pressing lightly so the coating sticks well.

  5. Shake gently to remove excess crumbs.


Step 4: Frying
